Job Description
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager, and the Regional Center Director, the LVN provides support for psychiatric and primary care services in an integrated outpatient clinic, and demonstrates a positive attitude, a caring spirit and ability to work within an integrated multidisciplinary team. The LVN supports the prescribing Physicians and NP's, is responsible for obtaining vital signs, weight, height, BMI, recording information in the electronic medical record, and staging medication consents, rooming patients and assisting with medical procedures. The LVN is responsible for refilling medications, assisting with phone calls, office, and clinic flow, and obtaining medication authorizations to ensure no lapse in prescriptions.
