:Operate and set up CNC or conventional mills and lathes Inspect produced components per blueprint using standard inspection techniques Load/unload parts in provided work holding method per setup Replace broken cutting tools/inserts as needed Complete work order documentation in accordance with AS9100 quality standards Load and check CNC program Establish work and tooling offset information Train other employees on operation and set up of CNC machines Oversee operations of multiple CNC or conventional...
Building upon level three, without assistance level four machinists demonstrate the ability to set up, run and trouble shoot all specific CNC and conventional machines and machining processes. They are also able to design and manufacture complex tooling. Leadership and mentoring skills are also expected of level four machinists. At least 6 years of experience.
