JOB DESCRIPTION

The Genomics and transcriptomics of synucleinopathies (GTS) group focuses on the molecular characterization of Lewy body diseases. Over the past 10 years we have specialized in dementia with Lewy bodies with the goal to provide peripheral diagnostic markers. We are looking for a Research Technician for an ambitious project with a social impact.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in sample obtaining and processing.
• Conduct RNA expression studies including data analyses.
• Conduct cell culture‑based experiments.
• Conduct Luminex and ELISA‑based protein quantification assays.
• Conduct platelet characterization by cytometry.
• Conduct RT‑Quick/SAA assays.
• Conduct data analyses, interpret results, and present and discuss them.
• Draft manuscripts or manuscript sections.
• Participate in updating and maintaining laboratory databases.
