Job Description

ROLE AND PURPOSE:
To provide assistance to the nurse in caring for students and maintaining student records
QUALIFICATIONS:  

Education/Certification: 
High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
Experience: 
Patient care experience preferred

BLS CPR preferred

Vision and hearing screener preferred
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

INSTRUCTIONAL MANAGEMENT
Reinforce health teaching done by the campus nurse
SCHOOL/ORGANIZATION CLIMATE
Work cooperatively with nurse, campus staff, and parents to maintain health of students

Maintain calm demeanor in stressful situations
SCHOOL/ORGANIZATIONAL IMPROVEMENT
Participate in training to improve skills needed to successfully complete responsibilities
ADMINISTRATION AND FISCAL/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
