Job Overview
BDO South Africa is looking for trainees for a 3‑year SAICA Accountant Traineeship within the Audit division. The trainee will acquire SAICA competencies and be prepared to register as a Chartered Accountant, gaining generalist experience across a broad range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in audit engagements for a variety of client sectors from large JSE-listed companies to smaller owner-managed businesses.
- Perform audit work under the guidance of senior team members, including documentation, testing and communication with clients.
- Collaborate with partners, managers and colleagues within a supportive, open‑door culture.
