Campus Security Officer

As the Campus Security Officer, you will: Complete all required training and maintain all required certification(s) for all aspects of security protection Respond to on-site emergencies Maintain effective campus access controls Continuously maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license (permitting operation in New York State) Continuously maintain all licenses, certifications and other authorizations required under applicable laws, rules and regulations (federal, state, local and other) to carry out the duties of Security Officer Operate computers and other equipment to the extent but not limited to writing reports, sending/receiving email communications, operation computer-based surveillance and intrusion detection systems, access control platforms, protection devices, fire protection and suppression platforms and patrol tour reporting systems Detect, deter and report suspicious activity or findings.
