A&R Manager will be responsible for identifying, scouting and evaluating talent, managing the full roster of artists, and representing the commercial interests of both the label and the artists. Provide strategic and operational directives to ensure a healthy churn rate and deliver a new release repertoire of the highest quality. Liaise with the marketing team to develop effective and creative marketing plans for each artist, collaborate with business affairs to oversee acquisitions for the roster.Coordinates all aspects of the production of records. This includes managing the budgets for record production and artwork, coordinating the signing of contracts and organizing recording sessions and photo and video shoots.The job is based around project management skills, including the ability to schedule many projects simultaneously.
