**POSITION DETAILS**
The Division of Science at The City College of New York seeks a Director of Academic Advising to provide strategic leadership and oversight of academic advising, student success programs, and enrichment initiatives across the Division’s five academic departments. The Director will play a central role in advancing student success, retention, and degree completion in STEM disciplines, supporting a highly diverse student population, including many first-generation college students.
In collaboration with the Office of Dean of Science, the Director will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive advising model serving undergraduate students pursuing science majors as well as those preparing for prehealth and pre-engineering pathways. This includes oversight of advising systems, academic planning processes, and student engagement initiatives aligned with institutional priorities.
