Accountant (Ottawa)

Our client, a boutique public accounting firm with a casual, friendly, and collaborative atmosphere, located in the East End of Ottawa, is currently looking for an Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis.

Please note this is a fully in-office position (not hybrid/remote).

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Working closely with clients for corporate year-end engagements, personal & corporate tax preparation
• Reviewing bookkeeping for various clients & entering adjusting entries as required
• Acting as back-up to the Bookkeeper for processing payroll for a few select clients
• Communicating with CRA on client’s behalf
• Entering files into Caseware, preparing financial statements and producing T2s using Taxprep for Principal’s final review before submission to CRA
