About Us:COMMUN is a combined arts organisation with a focus on community building for emerging and mid-career Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) voices.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records for our charitable entity, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the entity.
Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and areas for financial efficiency.
Ensure compliance with relevant charity accountancy standards and regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and ensure accurate reporting.
Liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
