Accounting Analyst

The Accounting Analyst will support internal general accounting functions (A/R, A/P, G/L, etc.) at Verity Solutions and provide financial adjudication services for the company s customers. The position will perform cash posting, collections of outstanding balances, and serve as the point of contact for the financial adjudication between our pharmacy partners and our customers. The position will support all accounting practices to ensure compliance with legal guidelines and established generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The position will interact with different parts of the company, and also will have direct contact with external customers/vendors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support all accounting operational functions, including, but not limited to: A/R, A/P, collections, reconciliations, check runs, taxes, and general ledger activities.
Support parts of the monthly close processes, including making journal entries and maintaining supporting workbooks.
