Job Description
BASIC FUNCTION
The Accounting Assistant provides support to the Finance and Accounting team in handling general accounting, accounts payable, and cost accounting activities. The role is responsible for assisting in financial recording, document processing, inventory monitoring, and report preparation to ensure accurate and timely accounting operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in recording and processing financial transactions and maintaining accounting records.
- Support accounts payable activities including clearing of advances, reconciliation, and document processing.
- Organize, file, and maintain accounting documents for proper monitoring and audit compliance.
- Assist in inventory monitoring, reconciliation, and month-end physical counts.
