Accounting coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage the transactional accounting process of the business and help produce Monthly Management.
• Continuous review of financial controls and procedures and development and implementation of such controls and procedures.
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the transactional accounting department, maintaining the general ledger structure particularly when adding new gyms.
• Supervise accounts payable/receivable.
• Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
• Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Advise staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
