Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is working to fill an Accounting Manager position with a locally owned business in Reno. The Accounting Manager will report into the CFO and be responsible for the review of Payables and Receivables, and a variety of hands on accounting tasks including:
• Help and assist with all general ledger activity, month-end and year-end close processes for multiple entities
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Maintain chart of accounts and ensure consistent coding across all departments and cost centers
• Administer payroll processing, ensuring accuracy for both W-2 employees and 1099 contractors.
• Monitor banking activity, and perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with annual benefit and insurance renewals and open enrollment. Providing HR support for employees in coordination with CFO.
