Job Description
Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a high-volume accounting team on a contract basis. This remote opportunity follows a Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule and is ideal for someone who can manage invoice processing with accuracy and urgency. The person in this role will work closely with vendors and internal accounting partners while supporting daily payables operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Process a large volume of invoices each day, maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation throughout the accounts payable cycle.
• Review and assign correct account codes to invoices to ensure expenses are recorded appropriately in the general ledger.
• Perform three-way matching by comparing invoices, purchase records, and receiving documentation before payment approval.
