Accounts Technician

Trial Balance is currently working with a successful firm of Accountants to source an experienced Accounts Technician to join their busy team. The successful Accounts Technician will be either AAT qualified or at a similar level through their experience, and will have an excellent background working in an accountancy practice environment.

Key responsibilities in this varied role will include:

• Accounts preparation for a varied client base of sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies 
• Personal and corporate tax returns
• VAT returns and client bookkeeping
• Advising clients on accounting issues and resolving queries

Applicants should have a strong background in accountancy practice, and preferably be fully AAT qualified. Strong communication skills and the ability to integrate into a friendly and collaborative team environment are essential.
