Job Description

 The Pharmacy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 6 ACT Technician in Liverpool. The successful Pharmacist will be working full-time hours across Monday to Friday. We are looking for a ward-based pharmacist with previous experience.
  Position:  ACT Technician 
  Banding:  6
  Location:  Liverpool
  Hours:  37.5 hours per week
  Duration:  Ongoing contract
  Typical duties include :
 Dispensing medications as prescribed by doctors and other medical professionals
 Reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy and to evaluate their suitability for the patient
 Providing information and advice about drugs, their side effects, correct dosage and proper storage
 Providing other health advice, such as guidance on stopping smoking
 Keeping records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, and registries of poisons, narcotics or co...
