Activities Coordinator - Off-Site Acute Care Unit

JOB SUMMARY

/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conducts therapeutic activities and/or recreational programs.
• Completes evaluation and screening process in area of assignment in accordance with governmental, departmental and Medical Center policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Provides input to the treatment team and works collaboratively with patients and team members to achieve treatment goals.

II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Essential: standing, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting, pushing/pulling usual weight of 50 pounds of force, carrying usual weight of 20 pounds. 
• Frequent: sitting, stooping/bending, climbing stairs, squatting, twisting body, pushing/pulling weight of 50 pounds of force, carrying weight of 50 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level. 
• Occasional: kneeling, walking on uneven ground, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods, frequent gripping...
