Job Description

Summary
The Department of Recreational Services is seeking student staff help to create a welcoming and safe environment in the Recreation Centers weight room area for the fall and winter semesters. Shifts may be early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends depending on availability. 
Responsibilities*
Providing on-site supervision of the weight room to ensure patron safety
Light cleaning and regular checks of the cardio room and indoor track
Greet patrons and assist with providing answers to questions
Enforcement of facility policies
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary 
Required Qualifications*
Must be a current UM-Flint student 
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion 
Have the ability to obtain CPR/AED/First Aid certification
