An exciting opportunity exists within the Old Mutual Africa regions (OMAR) actuarial team that offers exposure to an interesting combination of technical and business issues. This is an opportunity to participate in OMAR’s mature markets – Namibia, Malawi, Zimbabwe.
Reporting to the Finance Actuary of OMAR, the role requires sound technical knowledge of Financial Reporting requirements and OMAR product range, with strong planning and delivery focus. In this role, you will lead a team of actuaries.
Key Result Areas
Financial, Business & Risk Reporting: Effective and timeous delivery of valuation results covering IFRS profits, value measures, solvency and risk metrics for different stakeholders including: in-country management, OMAR Central, OML Group Actuarial Reporting, OMAR Enterprise risk management, Treasury & Financial Markets and the Office of the Chief Actuary
