Position Summary/Description:
The Department of Surgery at The University of North Carolina is seeking applications for a full- time academic trauma, surgical critical care, and acute care surgeon to join our Division of General and Acute Care Surgery. The Division of General and Acute Care Surgery is among 9 clinical Divisions in the Department of Surgery. The Division currently includes 15 faculty members that provide a broad array of clinical services while caring for injured and critically ill patients as well as emergency general surgery patients. This position is being recruited as an open-rank, open-track appointment at an FTE between 0.5 FTE and 1.0 FTE . The appointment may also be offered as a fixed term track or tenure/tenure track appointment.
