Adjunct Instructor - Information Systems

Job Summary

The Adjunct Instructor position in Information Systems is responsible for teaching IS courses. Adjunct faculty members are employed to provide specific courses on an as-needed basis. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester or term basis. Adjunct Instructors hold the responsibility for the management of courses taught. Adjunct Instructors are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time for each course taught to counsel students regarding course work.

In Class Teaching Percentage Online Teaching Percentage Minimum Qualifications

1. Master’s degree in Information Systems or a related field with 18 graduate hours in Information Systems from an AACSB accredited school

2. Teaching experience, in-class and online

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience using Blackboard

2. Professional experience in the field
