About the role

The Student Administration team within the Academic Division of the University of Otago supports 21,000 students across admissions, course management, graduation, examinations, scholarships and related portfolios. The team plays a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional student experience throughout their university journey.

Positions Available

Four full‑time positions (37.5 hours per week) are available in Ōtepoti, Dunedin:

  • Two permanent roles supporting Admissions and Course Management portfolios.
  • Two fixed‑term roles supporting Graduation, Examinations, Course Management and Scholarships portfolios.

Responsibilities

Roles will vary by portfolio but generally include:

  • Receiving and validating student applications.
  • Maintaining student records and ensuring data accuracy.
