Admissions Director Park Nursing Home

Park Nursing Home is seeking an experienced Admissions Director.

We are a 196 bed facility located right by the boardwalk at Rockaway Beach. We have a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean and we are accessible to the subway, water ferry and buses.

Responsibilities

The Director will be responsible for managing the Admissions process for incoming and prospective residents and managing census levels for the facility

The successful candidate will have experience managing a busy Admissions department within a Nursing Home and have a good understanding of the admissions process including intake policies and procedures, assessments, and Medicare/Medicaid and Managed Care reimbursement processes

Additionally, the Director will manage one Marketer who is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with hospitals, external businesses, outside vendors, and community organizations, etc., to generate admissions at the facility
