Job Description
The GE9 X Product Support Engineer will provide technical support and leadership to a cross‑functional team to work on engine reliability, safety, maintenance, cost of ownership, and customer responsiveness. In this role you will be responsible for specific hardware/components installed in our engines, solving problems for a successful entry into service and for the customers, and communicating with the regulatory authorities and the GE internal customer/engineering team. It is a function with some autonomy but guided by established policies and review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness, etc.).
