Reporting to the Manager and the Interprofessional Practice Chief for Nursing, the Advanced Practice Leader (APL) collaborates with interprofessional teams and leadership to develop, implement, and sustain best practices in nursing care, driving exemplary patient outcomes. The APL will work closely with teams at Baycrest Hospital and the Apotex, Baycrest’s Long-Term Care Home, with a strong focus on patient/resident and caregiver education to empower individuals in managing wounds effectively and preventing occurrence or recurrence.
