Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA): General Surgery Hillcrest/Mentor II

Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider who provides primary and/or specialty care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with the health care team in accordance with certification and licensure. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. Responsible for dissemination of knowledge through instructing, leading and developing educational programs.
**Primary Job Responsibilities**

+ Serve as first and second assistant in the operating room across assigned locations, supporting a wide range of surgical procedures.
+ Provide comprehensive patient management in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Hillcrest and Mentor, ensuring safe recovery and timely intervention when needed.
+ Conduct postoperative rounds at Mentor, assessing patient progress, addressing complications, and coordinating ongoing care.
