About the Role

This Registrar position is ideally suited for an advanced renal trainee and is RACP accredited for 24 months. Twelve‑ or twenty‑four‑month positions are available, and early renal trainees are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside experienced senior nephrologists within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide hands‑on care to a diverse patient population in acute and outpatient settings, managing complex comorbidities.
  • Perform key procedures such as tunnelled dialysis line insertion and renal biopsy.
  • Actively engage in professional development: contribute to the renal journal club, hospital‑based teaching programmes, and key renal discussions including morbidity and mortality meetings, vascular access forums, pathology reviews, and transplant listing meetings.
