Perform compressor aerodynamic and thermodynamic calculations for centrifugal compressor designs using Atlas Copco's prescribed tools and procedures. Support the evaluation of complex aerodynamic designs for Production, R&D, and Aftermarket. Troubleshoot test and field issues related to compressor aerodynamics and operation. - Lead the aerodynamic design and optimization of impellers, diffusers, volutes, and guide vanes for production and R&D projects - Perform advanced CFD simulations to predict compressor performance, stability, and loss mechanisms - Correlate analytical and CFD predictions with test data and field performance - Support compressor factory testing and site acceptance, including test planning and data interpretation - Lead technical discussions with customers related to aerodynamic performance and compressor operation - Mentor other engineers in thermodynamics, aerodynamic performance and compressor operation - Produce engineering documentation for ...
