Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this full-time position will be to prepare, present and manage budgets for the Worcester County Health Department. This position will also apply analytical and mathematical skills to support the agency's fiscal and accounting functions. Responsibilities include:
Assisting with the development & administration of grant-funded budgets; Monitoring & approving expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary priorities and constraints; Analyzing financial data and preparing projections, forecasts, and recommendations; Compiling and submitting required financial reports to management and external agencies; Budget planning and expenditure tracking support to program managers and department staff; Maintaining financial records in accordance with agency policies and record retention requirements; Participating in year-end closing activities; and Assisting with audits b...
