AI Engineer

At Spaceium, we are building spacecraft systems designed to push the boundaries of what’s possible in orbit. As an AI Engineer, you will develop intelligent systems that enable autonomous decision-making, anomaly detection, and adaptive operations for our spacecraft. You will work at the intersection of machine learning and space systems, building AI capabilities that operate reliably in resource-constrained, high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI/ML models for spacecraft autonomy, anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance
• Build data pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment of models
• Develop reinforcement learning or planning algorithms for autonomous on-orbit operations
• Integrate AI systems with flight software and ground segment tools
