Air Force - Air Warfare Specialist

As an Air Warfare Specialist, your primary role is to operate the P-8A Poseidon’s advanced sensor systems and analyse information to support mission operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain onboard sensor suites including Radar, Electro-Optics, Electronic Warfare and Acoustic Warfare.
• Process and analyse collected data and present actionable intelligence to the crew to aid tactical employment.
• Participate in diverse mission types such as Search & Rescue, Fisheries and Border Patrols, Airborne Surveillance, Military Operations and Exercises.
• Carry out on‑board aircrew duties: human and crew resource management, mission support, stores loading, system fault‑finding and emergency procedures.
