Overview
Performs scheduled/unscheduled aircraft Egress, Environmental and related systems. Maintains aircraft ejection seats, aircraft air conditioning systems, canopy systems, canopy jettison/fracturing systems, fire warning/extinguishing systems, OBOGS repair/troubleshooting, aircraft environmental systems maintenance and pressurization systems troubleshoot oxygen systems, repair and test oxygen regulators and Liquid Oxygen (LOX) converters removed from the aircraft. This position is located in Patuxent River, MD on the Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL) program.
Responsibilities
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Maintains assigned aircraft in accordance with Navy, manufacturer and company instructions.
+ Responsible for all egress system on and off equipment maintenance on assigned squadron aircraft.
+ Removes, transports, inspects, repairs and reinstalls ejection seats. Inspects, repairs and cleans seat harnesses.
