Aircraft Networking & Connectivity Satcom Systems Engineer

As a member of the A/C Networking and Safety DLs Design Office, you will participate in the inception, design, and development of Connectivity Solutions for the Air Power Products, including integration, qualification, and certification support. The activity will follow Airbus systems engineering processes and agile development methodology.

We seek a senior professional with a background in geostationary and LEO/MEO satellite communications systems and demonstrated experience in:

• Satcom architectures, equipment and subsystem technologies
• Satcom activities such as link budgets, system dimensioning, frequency license management
• Digital communication systems, spread spectrum, modulation types and waveforms
• Development and integration of satcom systems, preferably on mobile platforms
• Previous experience with airborne satcom systems is desirable
