Key Responsibilities:
- Apply primers, topcoats, clear coats, and specialty finishes to composite and metallic surfaces per engineering specifications.
- Perform surface preparation including masking, sanding, scuffing, cleaning, and racking.
- Mix paints to match required color specifications using manual or powered equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Set up and operate spray equipment; perform routine maintenance on paint tools and systems.
- Inspect work using precision measuring tools (e.g., isoscopes, scales) to ensure quality standards.
