Airway Transportation Systems Specialist

Summary The Airway Transportation Systems Specialist (ATSS) serves as an Operations Control Center (OCC) Specialist within the Technical Operations Service Unit, NAS Security & Enterprise Operations (NASEO) Directorate, National Operations Group (NOG). The position is located at an OCC and is responsible for coordinating maintenance and operational activities with other FAA personnel and local, state, other Federal and private sector agencies to ensure continued system operations. Responsibilities The ATSS is considered a technical expert within the Operations Control Center for the assigned system or specialty area. The work of this position directly supports the objectives of the National Operations Group and the safe and continual operation of the NAS, air traffic operations and FAA programs.
