AIX System Administrator Important Information Location: Singapore Job mode: Contract
Job Summary: We're looking for an experienced AIX Administrator to collaborate with application teams, drive system upgrades, and ensure high availability of our UNIX infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with application teams for EOS upgrade planning Define configuration standards for UNIX and system software Provide technical assistance to dev/ops teams Script automation using Perl, KSH, Python Work with GIT/GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Nagios Troubleshoot and drive system recovery with urgency Lead AIX OS upgrades and ensure supportability Review and supervise major change requests Conduct performance tuning and analysis Automate operations for efficiency Drive OS/software upgrade cycles Manage backup and recovery
