Role Overview

An experienced Akamai Engineer is sought to design, automate, and support the edge services that facilitate the secure and reliable delivery of internet-facing applications. This role involves hands-on operation and maintenance of the Akamai platform, with a focus on platform support, customer intake, delivery, and contributing to automation efforts. The position requires collaboration across teams to improve processes and ensure alignment with operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on operation within the Akamai platform, including supporting and maintaining the implemented system.

Configure and manage Akamai services, including edge properties, routing, and security controls.

Contribute to automation efforts by scripting in Python, Golang, or similar tools; Terraform is currently in use.
