Alcohol & Other Drug Clinician

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Alcohol & Other Drug Clinician, with a minimum of 2 years experience, to work alongside our highly skilled multi‑disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive alcohol and other drug assessments.
• Develop collaborative recovery plans utilizing therapeutic models that support work with tangata whaiora.
• Provide relapse prevention and counselling skills, and engage in group work.
• Work with complex cases that often include mental and/or physical health co‑morbidities.

Community Alcohol and Drug Service (CADS) provides support and services for adults and whanau with complex alcohol and other drug concerns, often alongside mental and/or physical health co‑morbidities.
