Job Description
Stainless Welder
We’re on the lookout for experienced Stainless Welders to join a busy team in Te Rapa. If you’re trade qualified, confident with TIG welding, and have solid NZ experience, this is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work at a competitive rate.
Location: Te Rapa, Hamilton
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $30–36 per hour (paid weekly)
The role
- TIG welding stainless steel components
- Fabrication and assembly of stainless steel products
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Site installation and workshop-based work
- Ensuring weld quality and maintaining safety standards
What we’re looking for
- Proven NZ welding experience
- Trade qualification in welding/fabrication
- Strong TIG welding skills (essential)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
