How you’ll make an impact

Perform detailed analysis of account balances to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and statutory adjustments as part of the overall accounting close process. Establish rationale and justification for required adjustments to ensure critical reserves and accruals are appropriately stated.

Identify accounting system deficiencies and recommend process improvements to provide timely, accurate and useful information to ensure accurate financial reporting, and partner with the systems group to drive required changes.

Prepare fluctuation analysis for quarterly and annual audits to present rationale and close open issues with external auditors; ensure all SOX key controls are appropriately completed within the area of responsibility; establish audit-worthy evidence and documentation to prevent significant audit deficiencies.
