Job Description

What is the opportunity?As the Analyst, Japan Equities, you will support the Japan Portfolio Manager(s) (“PM”) in the Global Asset Management (“GAM”) team located in Hong Kong.What will you do?

Work closely with the Japan PM and other members of the team in Hong Kong and Tokyo, plus other GAM teams to implement the stock screening process;

Conduct on-the-ground research on companies and sectors as directed by the portfolio management team;

Take on primary analyst coverage in due course on specific sector universe.

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

Good understanding on financial modelling. Solid analytical capabilities to be able to digest volumes of research and information and extract interesting and thematic trends;

Sell side or buy side experience in Technology Sector (Hardware/Semiconductor)
