Analyst, Kā Au Kahuraki

This position is fixed-term, part-time (0.6FTE) until February 2027.

As the Analyst – Kā Āu Kahuraki , you’ll play a key role in supporting cross-agency efforts to prevent harm and improve outcomes for tamariki and whānau. You’ll use data to uncover insights, identify trends, and inform early intervention strategies grounded in kaupapa Māori and community perspectives. Your work will directly support collaborative decision-making and contribute to the success of this important initiative.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret data to identify drivers of harm and opportunities for early intervention.
• Develop clear, accessible reports and insights to support cross-agency collaboration.
• Maintain and manage datasets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Ministry priorities.
• Provide timely analytical support to internal teams and external partners.
