JOB SUMMARYThe Analyst prepares samples and measures specifications using prescribed lab equipment for each product. Analyzes samples by following established procedures in order to determine sample condition and specifications. Records data and measurements. Conducts database searches, identify selections, make report comments, and generates validation reports based on correct specifications. Maintains optimal efficiency and quality standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMeasures, evaluates, and analyzes all sample specifications, database selections, websites, and library samples to ensure accuracy in determining like, kind & quality selections or matches.Operates and utilizes lab equipment/tools as required, following current lab procedures.Documents and verifies all unusual specifications, poor sample conditions, and any aspects of individual samples that does not comply with industry norms by placing internal notes and report comments in ITEL software.Communicates with manufacturers and di...
