About the role
China represents the largest market for both Rio Tinto Group and Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO). We are currently seeking an Analyst – Traders & Growth, whose primary responsibility will be to help foster relationships with Chinese domestic trading companies and mills, as well as support the Singapore commercial team in maximizing the value of the iron ore portfolio.
Reporting to the Manager Traders & Growth, you will:

Assist Manager Traders & Growth in executing the RTIO sales and marketing strategy in the target market.

Provide support in managing key account relationships and offer critical insights to facilitate an objective assessment of the commercial value associated with these clients.

Supporting new business development and spot sales while making sure customer obligations are fulfilled according to contract terms.
