UK King's Daughters is a 455-bed regional referral center in Ashland, Kentucky. We are part of the University of Kentucky Health system. We operate more than 30 primary care clinics in outlying areas of Kentucky and Ohio which refer patients from a catchment area of about 750,000 people to our main campus for testing and treatment. In 2025, we completed a $150 million construction project on campus, which gave us a new main entrance, a brand-new ER, and an all-new Imaging Department. Our Emergency Department sees more than 80,000 patients per year. We offer nearly all medical specialties, except pediatric subspecialties and transplant surgery.

Candidates must have fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia and be certified in advanced perioperative TEE or be planning to become certified at the conclusion of training.
