AO3 Maintenance Support Officer

We are currently seeking a motivated AO3/1 Maintenance Support Officer to join a well-regarded State Government department based in Mackay. This is an exciting opportunity offering an immediate start through to June 6, with potential for extension.In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for tenants and contractors, providing efficient and effective support in the coordination of housing maintenance services. Your exceptional communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills will help ensure timely and quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer inbound calls and make outbound follow-ups to arrange maintenance services

Provide calm, clear, and consistent communication, including de-escalating difficult situations

Accurately record and manage customer requests in internal systems

Coordinate and liaise with contractors and service providers

Work towards and meet key call centre performance indicators
