  About the Company 
 Davidson are working with a state government department who are seeking AO6 Senior Business Development Officer.
 
 
   About the Role  
 The successful candidates will support Indigenous tourism business development in the Northern Peninsula and Torres Strait Islands. This full-time position involves travel within the region and collaboration with teams in Cairns and Brisbane. The role requires flexibility to work from various offices and includes 38 hours over five days per week.
   Key Responsibilities
   
 Drive Indigenous tourism initiatives and foster relationships with Indigenous communities and stakeholders, including government and business associations.
 Act as the liaison between Indigenous businesses and government to facilitate tourism development.
 Provide guidance to Indigenous businesses in defining their vision and securing collaborations.
