The Application Solution Engineer (ASE) is a cross-functional role within the Corporate Information Technology (IT) team. The ASE is responsible for aligning end-to-end process design across SGS’s corporate IT applications. Acting as a senior techno-functional expert, the ASE supports business stakeholders in defining high-level specifications, anticipating system functionality challenges, and advising on requirement definition and solution delivery. This role ensures that solutions are standardized, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with SGS and industry best practices. The ASE oversees software development activities, ensuring deliverables meet quality, architectural, and security standards. Responsibilities include validating effort estimates, reviewing third-party proposals, and coordinating development phases.
