Apprentice Lineman - North Division Roving Crew (Laurel)

The headquarters for this position is Laurel, MS. In addition to this requirement, the successful candidate must be able to routinely work within any location in the division.

**Job Summary**

This position will be filled as an Apprentice Lineman. This position is responsible for performing overhead distribution construction work for grid investment and/or capital improvement projects. Some examples include reconductors, storm hardening, voltage conversions, adding/upgrading sectionalizing equipment. Other duties may include various system repairs and storm restoration. These projects will be in various locations across the MPC service territory and reporting to remote locations within 65 miles of the established headquarters, subject to applicable mileage reimbursement, may be required.
